Job summary

JLG, a global Oshkosh company, invites applicants for a four-year apprenticeship in our NSW workshop. You will assist technicians, perform pre-delivery inspections, and help service elevating work platforms, telehandlers, and lighting towers. Training blends on‑the‑job and theory, leading to Cert III in Elevating Work Platforms or Mobile Plant Technology.

Ideal candidates are reliable, can follow instructions, communicate clearly, and work well in a team while upholding safety and ANZ standards.

Qualifications

Committed to a 4-year apprenticeship with on-job training, block theory, and practical training with a registered training organization.
Certification: Cert III in Elevating Work Platforms or Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Mature, reliable and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist Workshop Technicians with all functions within the workshop.
Carry out pre-delivery inspections, service, and repairs on customer and company-owned equipment.
Learn and assist in evaluating machine performance.
Inspect designs and finished products for specifications compliance.
Assist with installing, testing, repairing, and modifying electronic and hydraulic equipment.
