Job summary

JLG Industries in Australia is seeking a motivated Apprentice to assist Workshop Technicians with all workshop functions, including pre-delivery checks, service and repairs of Elevating Work Platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers.

You will learn to evaluate machine performance, inspect designs, and support with installing, testing and maintaining hydraulic and electronic systems, while adhering to ANZ standards and site procedures during a four-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Workshop Technicians with all workshop functions including pre-delivery checks.
• Support service and repairs of Elevating Work Platforms, telehandlers and lighting towers.
• Learn evaluation of machine performance and inspect designs for conformance.
• Assist with installing, testing, repairing and modifying electronic and hydraulic equipment.
• Assist with paperwork and inspections per ANZ Standards and site requirements.
• Contribute to three monthly and annual inspections of machines per standards.
• Perform sanding, painting and other general trade assistant duties as required.
• Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and environmental policies.
