Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor at our Dandenong branch to lead a busy workshop team, plan daily workflows, and mentor technicians and apprentices. The role reports to the Service Manager and focuses on safety, productivity, and high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in workshop environments.
• Strong commitment to safety and WHS principles.
• Experience in earthmoving equipment maintenance.
• Excellent time management with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor workshop technicians and apprentices to build capability and standards.
• Plan and manage daily workflows to optimise labour and resources.
• Promote a proactive safety culture aligned with WHS standards.
• Ensure accuracy of service records, warranty reporting and documentation.
• Monitor WIP, job costing and workshop efficiency to improve productivity and quality.
