Northfleet is seeking a driven Workshop Supervisor to lead the Newman workshop, overseeing maintenance and repair of vehicles, trucks, buses and trailers to deliver safe, high-quality service. You will manage technicians, schedules, inventories and safety standards while supporting operations across remote sites.

Ideal candidates bring five years of leadership experience, a strong safety focus, and proficiency with maintenance systems.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience leading a workshop team.
• Strong people-focused leadership and development ability.
• Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Customer service mindset with focus on quality outcomes.
• High standards in maintenance, servicing and record keeping.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for heavy-vehicle fleets.
• Valid MR licence (or higher) and ability to work with maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safe and timely vehicle servicing, repairs and inspection schedules.
• Prepare, supervise and control all workshop activities.
• Manage technicians and apprentices to ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain a safe, compliant working environment and uphold policies.
• Oversee fleet services, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Communicate progress, timeframes and costs to management.
• Maintain stock levels and liaise with spare parts for orders.
• Attend mine sites and remote areas for breakdowns and servicing.
