Job summary

Linde ANZ in Sydney seeks a Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance, and drive improvements in reliability and cost control.

You will lead workshop staff, manage supplier relationships, ensure accurate maintenance records, and uphold safety and compliance across our LPG transport fleet, with competitive remuneration and long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• Strong experience in fleet, heavy vehicle, or diesel maintenance environments.
• Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
• Sound knowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance documentation requirements.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong computer literacy and experience using maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations, repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Lead, coach, and support workshop personnel to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives.
• Monitor fleet availability, maintenance schedules, and breakdown response to minimise operational downtime.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, OEMs, and warranty providers.
• Ensure accurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and system updates are maintained.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency, reliability, and cost control.
