Job summary

Linde plc in Smithfield is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our fleet maintenance workshop. You will supervise a team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics, coordinate maintenance activities and drive safety and compliance.

You will optimize workshop efficiency, monitor schedules, manage relationships with suppliers and OEMs, and ensure accurate maintenance records. You will report to the Head of Fleet and Maintenance and contribute to cost control and continuous

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
• Proven leadership experience in fleet/heavy vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of safety, compliance and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Lead, coach and support workshop personnel to meet safety and performance goals.
• Monitor fleet availability and maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors and OEMs.
• Ensure accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reliability and cost control.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our fleet maintenance workshop in Smithfield.Reporting to the Head of Fleet and maintenance, you will lead a team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics, coordinate maintenance activities and help ensure our fleet remains safe, compliant.

• Ensureaccurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and system updatesare maintained
• You will drivecontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency,reliability, and cost control.
