• Oversee daily workshop operations from vehicle arrival through to completion.
• Allocate jobs and manage workloads across panel beaters, painters, and assembly staff.
• Monitor repair progress, turnaround times, and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain workmanship standards and complete quality checks before release.
• Identify bottlenecks, minimise downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Coordinate parts availability, supplier communication, and repair scheduling.
• Manage rework and resolve repair issues.
• Ensure the workshop remains organised, clean, safe, and compliant with workplace requirements.
• Communicate with estimators, management, customers and insurers.
• Track job progress and provide updates on delays, parts, and completion dates.
• Estimation skills - highly desirable but not required.
