Job summary

Adecco Australia is helping a well-established auto body manufacturer find a Workshop Operations Manager to oversee daily workshop operations, lead a team of 5–10 and ensure safe, high-quality work.

In this permanent full-time role, you will schedule jobs, prepare quotations, monitor costs and performance, and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, with opportunities for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a workshop/manufacturing environment.
• Trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical, and body building repairs.
• Experience with scheduling, quoting and workshop operations.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.
• Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol analysis is required.

Responsibilities

Your Profile

• 5+ years of previous leadership experience in a workshop, manufacturing, automotive, service or repair environment
• Trade qualifications in mechanical, electrical, and body building repairs
• Strong work ethics
• Experience with scheduling, quoting and workshop operations
• Strong focus on safety, quality and customer service

This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test
