Job summary

Aston Advantage in Narangba, Australia, seeks a Workshop Manager to lead the day-to-day workshop operations, oversee new machine builds, hire fleet maintenance, project delivery and continuous improvement.

You will be trade-qualified as Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Fitter, with proven leadership experience in heavy equipment, quarrying, mining or construction environments, driving safety, budgets and process excellence.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified mechanical or diesel fitter with leadership experience.
• Experience leading workshop teams in heavy equipment industries.
• Background in quarrying/mining/construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day workshop operations and workflows.
• Oversee new machine builds and hire fleet maintenance.
• Drive safety, compliance and budget control.
• Coordinate machine preparation and project delivery.
• Collaborate with senior management to improve processes.

Workshop Manager | Narangba | $120,000 - $150,000 + Super | Permanent

Opportunity: Lead the day-to-day workshop operations, overseeing new machine builds, hire fleet maintenance, project delivery, workflow management and continuous improvement.

Experience: Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Fitter or similar with proven experience leading workshop teams within heavy equipment, quarrying, mining, crushing & screening, construction or material handling industries.
