Qualifications

• Trade qualified diesel fitter or diesel mechanic preferred but not essential.
• Experience in automotive workshops is a bonus.
• Proven track record of leading a successful team.

BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is looking for a skilled and driven Workshop Manager to lead operations at our Moura workshop. This is a hands‑on leadership role within a large, privately owned company, offering the chance to oversee daily workshop activities while enhancing team performance and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will manage day-to-day workshop functions, including coordinating parts and resources, overseeing contracts, and building strong client relationships. Strong leadership is key to motivating your team, achieving financial targets, and delivering exceptional customer service. Success will come from promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and long‑term, sustainable growth.

About you

• Trade qualified Diesel fitter/Diesel mechanic preferred but not essential
• Experience with automotive workshops a bonus
• Proven record for leading a successful team
• Ability to manage all aspects of the business effectively
• Ability to lead continuous improvement and WH&S
• Proficient in the computer skills
• Ability to drive business growth, cultivate new opportunities
