Job summary

FNQ Auto Air in Cairns, North Queensland, is seeking a hands-on Workshop Manager to lead our busy automotive electrical, air-conditioning and transport refrigeration workshop.

You will mentor technicians, plan jobs, manage parts, uphold safety and quality, and build strong customer relationships while driving profitability for a growing FNQ business. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate, and a company vehicle, phone and laptop are provided.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Auto Electrical or Transport Refrigeration.
• Experience leading a team or supervising technicians.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Sound computer and administration skills.
• Current driver's licence.

Lead Our Team in Tropical North Queensland

FNQ Auto Air is a well‑established and growing business specialising in automotive electrical, air-conditioning and transport refrigeration services across North Queensland.

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead our Cairns operation. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone with a strong technical background in either Auto Electrical or Transport Refrigeration who can effectively manage people, workflow and customer relationships.

About the Role

As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for:
