Job summary

Golding Contractors is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent (Workshop) to lead safe, reliable workshop maintenance across mining operations. Based at South Walker Creek, you will drive planning, scheduling and budgeting while mentoring a capable maintenance team.

Reporting to Maintenance Manager, you will partner with operations and supply teams to optimise parts, ensure compliance with safety systems, and deliver high equipment availability and project performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a Maintenance Superintendent role within mining HME environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems SAP.
• Strong understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, budgeting, and asset management.
• Experience leading workshop-based maintenance teams and delivering high equipment reliability.
• Proven ability to lead, influence and develop teams while fostering a positive safety culture.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise workshop maintenance teams to deliver safe, efficient outcomes.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance to maximise reliability and availability.
• Develop and maintain rolling maintenance schedules, budgets, forecasts, and reports.
• Monitor performance and equipment condition data to identify trends and risks.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance advisors and supply teams for major activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environment, and quality systems.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and maintenance effectiveness.
• Mentor and develop supervisors and maintenance personnel.
