Job summary

Motion Fluid Power Solutions in Kewdale, WA is seeking a motivated team member for a stable Monday–Friday workshop role. You will assemble and test hydraulic hose to Australian Standards, read work orders, and prepare workshop orders.

This permanent full‑time position offers training, career development, strong safety emphasis, and long‑term stability in a busy workshop. You’ll need a current driver’s licence; forklift licence is desirable; experience in hydraulics or hose assembly; good

Overview

Motivated team member needed to keep industry moving at Motion Fluid Power Solutions, a leader in hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings. The role is a stable Monday‑Friday position in the Kewdale WA workshop, providing training and career development in a safety‑focused environment.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test industrial and hydraulic hose to Australian Standards.
  • Read and complete work orders, schedules, and workshop documentation.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare workshop orders.
  • Receive, unpack, and store incoming stock correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
What You’ll Bring
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Forklift licence – desirable.
  • Experience in hydraulics, hose assembly, manufacturing, or a similar trade background – advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
  • Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter job details, update work orders, manage stock entries, and use email and internal systems accurately.
  • Positive attitude and team‑first mindset.
