Job summary

Motion Fluid Power Solutions in WA seeks a workshop team member to assemble and test hydraulic hose systems for mining, construction, and industrial sectors. You will follow clear processes, work with a supportive team, and receive full training in our hose management program.

You will report to the Branch Manager, contribute to safety and quality, and participate in career development, with market-aligned remuneration and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license is required.
• Experience in hydraulics, hose assembly, manufacturing, or similar trade background is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Basic computer skills for entering job details and updating orders.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain safe, clean workshop practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test industrial and hydraulic hose to Australian Standards.
• Read and complete work orders, schedules, and workshop documentation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare workshop orders.
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming stock correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment.

This position plays a key role in our Kewdale WA workshop, assembling and testing hose solutions that support customers across mining, transport, construction, and industrial sectors.

You will report to the Branch Manager and work closely with workshop and warehouse team members to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met.

You’ll receive full training in our hose management program and products, allowing you to build valuable industry skills in a company that values quality and safety.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test industrial and hydraulic hose to Australian Standards
• Read and complete work orders, schedules, and workshop documentation
• Pick, pack, and prepare workshop orders
• Receive, unpack, and store incoming stock correctly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

What You’ll Bring:

• Current driver’s license
• Forklift license (desirable)
• Experience in hydraulics, hose assembly, manufacturing, or similar trade background (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to enter job details, update work orders, manage stock entries, and use email and internal systems accurately.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
