Job summary

AUS MAPS Motion Asia Pacific Services Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Hydraulic/Mechanical technician for manufacturing, servicing and stocking hydraulic hose assemblies. You will be responsible for assembly, quality inspection and ensuring timely order fulfilment, while coordinating with sales, operations and supervisors to hit customer targets.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork and maintaining stock integrity, with training and a supportive work environment provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualifications are valued, especially for hydraulic work.
• Experience manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies is preferred but not essential.
• Strong emphasis on accuracy and quality in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, remove and/or install hydraulic hose assemblies to customers.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
• Pick, pack and supply hydraulic hose, fitting and auxiliary products per orders.
• Assist in inventory control and action stock issues to maintain stock integrity.
• Organise workflow to meet customer deadlines.
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and tooling to keep branch efficiency.
• Participate in management meetings and support sales improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with supervisors, sales team and operations to keep objectives aligned.
• Compile and maintain paperwork and records.

Job description

What your day looks like?

Manufacture, remove, and/or install hydraulic hose assemblies to customer. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Pick, pack, and supply all hydraulic hose, fitting and auxiliary products as per customer orders. Assist in the management of the inventory control, advise and action stock issues as they are found and ensure stock integrity is maintained. Organise workflow to meet customer deadlines. Assist with the maintenance of all equipment and tooling to keep branch efficiency as per the schedule. Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items. Communicate effectively with supervisors, sales team, operations, and other staff members, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met. Compile and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

Who are you?

Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience preferred but not essential. Hydraulic or Mechanical background Experience manufacturing hydraulic hose assemblies Understanding the importance of accuracy and quality
