We are seeking a hands-on and mechanically minded Workshop Fitter to join our team in Montrose, Tasmania.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and is keen to develop their skills.

What your Day to Day will look like:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Build and recondition driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
• Machine driveline components
• Assemble, weld, and balance driveshafts.
• General workshop duties as required.

• Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with experience in cars, machinery or related equipment
• Experience using manual lathes and welding equipment - highly regarded
• A flexible, proactive approach to a range of workshop tasks
