Motion Hardy Spicer in Tasmania is seeking a hands-on Workshop Fitter to build, recondition and assemble driveshafts for automotive and industrial applications. You will work alongside a skilled workshop team, learn on the job and contribute to quality and safety.

This permanent full-time role offers on-the-job training, opportunities for progression, and market-aligned remuneration with incentives and annual salary reviews.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with experience in cars, machinery or related equipment.
• Experience using manual lathes and welding equipment—highly regarded.
• A flexible, proactive approach to a range of workshop tasks.
• A willingness to learn, undertake training and contribute new ideas.
• A team-focused attitude and commitment to achieving business goals.
• A strong focus on safety and quality, with the ability to follow company policies and procedures.

International leader in Industrial manufacturing and reselling industry We are seeking a hands-on and mechanically minded Workshop Fitter to join our team in Montrose, Tasmania. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and is keen to develop their skills. What your Day to Day will look like:

• Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include: Build and recondition driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
• Machine driveline components Assemble, weld, and balance driveshafts.
• General workshop duties as required.
