Job summary

Motion in Regency Park seeks a Workshop Mechanic/Fitter to build, machine and assemble driveshafts for automotive and industrial use. The role emphasizes hands-on fitting, welding and balancing within a small team, with on-the-job training and safety-focused operations.

This is a Permanent Fulltime opportunity for someone to join our small team, who is looking for work life balance, Stable employment and career progression as we provide on the job training by supportive and experienced staff.

What your days look like:

• Buildand reconditioning driveshafts for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.
• Machineof driveline components.
• Assemble,welding, and balancing of driveshafts.
• Generalworkshop duties as required.

To be successful in this role you need:

• Well-developed fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment.
• Have a sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
• Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment is essential.
• Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
• Proven safety and quality focus & perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
• A willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
