Job summary

Motion Asia Pacific is seeking a Mechanical tradesperson for workshop and onsite servicing of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. The role requires trade qualifications and experience in fitting mobile and fixed plants.

Qualifications

• Must have trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic with hydraulic experience.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• Experience in fitting with fixed and mobile plant applications.
• Understanding accuracy and quality is vital.
• Fault finding experience with fixed plant and mining equipment is desirable.
• Low voltage electrical experience will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Workshop modification, reworking and testing of hydraulic components.
• Manufacture and test hydraulic power units.
• Provide onsite hydraulic support for local customers.
• Ability to work independently and lead other staff.

About The Role

• Workshop modification, reworking and testing of new hydraulic components to meet customer’s individual requirements
• Manufacture and testing of hydraulic power unitsReport on equipment following disassembly and inspection
• Ability to work independently and lead other staff members
• Onsite hydraulic support for local customers

About You – Skills And Experience

• Trade qualifications (Mechanical) as a Fitter, Turner & Machinist or Plant Mechanic w/ hydraulic experience
