• Coordinating parts ordering and inventory management to ensure materials are available for scheduled work
• Maintaining accurate records of all workshop activities, repairs, and maintenance
• Supporting technicians by resolving operational issues and ensuring a safe, organised workshop environment
• Assisting with quality control checks and ensuring all work meets company standards
• Managing workshop administration, including documentation, filing, and compliance records

About the role

This is a key operational position that will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our workshop. As Workshop Coordinator, you will be the crucial link between our administrative team, technicians, and customers, managing workflows, scheduling, and day-to-day workshop operations to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Scheduling and coordinating vehicle servicing and repair appointments to optimise technician time and resource allocation

Managing workshop job cards, work orders, and tracking vehicle progress through various repair stages

Liaising with customers to provide updates on vehicle status, service estimates, and completion timelines

Coordinating parts ordering and inventory management to ensure technicians have necessary materials for scheduled work

Maintaining accurate records of all workshop activities, repairs, and maintenance performed

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a workshop, automotive service centre, or similar operational environment

Proficiency with workshop management software and computer systems, or willingness to learn quickly

Sound knowledge of automotive terminology, vehicle servicing, and repair processes

A professional, customer-focused approach to service delivery

Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Relevant qualifications in workshop coordination, business administration, or automotive services are advantageous but not essential
