Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations, scheduling and resource allocation.

About the role

As the Workshop Controller, you'll lead and oversee the daily operation of our busy workshop - no two days look the same, and you'll thrive on keeping everything moving efficiently even when things get hectic. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction, working hands-on alongside the team rather than just from behind a desk.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and overseeing daily workshop operations, including scheduling, workflow and resource allocation - often juggling multiple priorities at once


• Leading, supervising and working alongside technicians and workshop staff as part of one team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and on time


• Rolling up your sleeves to provide technical guidance and hands-on support, sharing your expertise to problem-solve complex issues


• Liaising closely with our Service Advisors, communicating job progress and any additional work required


• Maintaining detailed records and reporting on workshop performance


• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency


• Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and quality control measures

What we're looking for
