Job summary

Rashi Joshi Mackay region seeks a capable Workshop Administrator to support a busy workshop. You will manage project administration, quotes, and documentation across multiple projects.

You’ll liaise with customers and suppliers, process timesheets and payroll-related tasks, and provide general administrative support to a skilled team. A proactive organiser with attention to detail will thrive in this on-site role.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a workshop administration, project administration, or similar role.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in administrative processes.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn business systems quickly.
  • Experience with customer invoicing, project support, and general office administration.
  • Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, trade, or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain workshop projects, quotes, and supporting documentation.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support workshop operations.
  • Raise and track purchase orders, quotes, invoices, and project records.
  • Process timesheets, payroll-related administration, and maintain labour allocation records.
  • Monitor and respond to emails and correspondence in a timely manner.
  • Maintain employee calendars, training registers, inductions, and compliance records.
  • Support workshop reporting, file management, and record keeping across business systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the workshop and major customers as required.

Your new role
