• Certificate III in Road Construction and Maintenance or equivalent preferred.
• General Construction Safety Card and a valid C class licence.

The position will suit someone with a solid background in civil construction, with experience in flood repair works highly regarded.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in civil construction, including the supervision of crews, programming, scheduling and cost control.
• Previous experience working within Local Government will be well regarded.
• Experience in flood repair or recovery works will be well regarded.
• Sound knowledge of TMR Specifications.
• Knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements relevant to the position, including work health and safety and risk management.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Road Construction and Maintenance, or equivalent, will be well regarded.
• General Construction Safety Card.
• Minimum C class driver's licence.
• Ability to commence mid to late September.
