Job summary

LO-GO Appointments is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Road Construction Supervisors for our Council clients across regional and remote Queensland for an 8-12 week assignment. Travel and accommodation are provided; hourly rates are negotiable.

Successful candidates will coordinate road construction projects, supervise crews, develop programs and schedules, and manage cost control while complying with WHS and RPC/RMPC policies.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating road construction projects with supervision of crews.
• Knowledge of RMPC/RPC project management policies.
• Understanding of WHS and risk management requirements.
• Computer literate.
• Certificate III in Road Construction and Maintenance or equivalent with Local Government experience is highly regarded.
• General Construction Safety Card.
• Minimum C class driver's licence.
• Ability to commence ASAP.
• Unrestricted working rights in Australia.

a niche Local Government Recruitment agency - is currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Road Construction Supervisors for our Council clients across regional and remote Queensland - for a period of 8-12 weeks.

Hourly rates are negotiable. Travel expenses will be compensated at the beginning and end of the assignment and accommodation will be provided for the full duration of these assignments.

Requirements:

• Experience in coordinating road construction projects including the supervision of crews, programming, schedules and cost control.
• Sound knowledge of RMPC / RPC project management policies.
• Possess knowledge and understanding of the legislative requirements relevant to the position including work, health and safety and risk management.
• Computer literate.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Road Construction and Maintenance, or the equivalent along with prior experience in Local Government will be highly regarded.
• General Construction Safety Card.
• Minimum C class drivers licence.
• Ability to commence ASAP.
• Must hold unrestricted working rights in Australia
