Job summary

Coles Group is seeking a Specialist - P&C Advisory to manage high-risk and complex cases, provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders, and ensure workplace policies comply with laws and industrial instruments.

You will lead investigations into discrimination, bullying, and other breaches, represent employers in tribunal proceedings, and collaborate with HR and legal teams to mitigate risk and support fair, compliant workplaces.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in workplace relations and employment law.
• Extensive experience managing high-risk investigations and complex employee cases.
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and discrimination law.
• Experience representing employers in tribunal proceedings (conciliation/arbitrations).
• Ability to manage a large, varied caseload with timely resolutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and strong analytical/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end case management of up to 20 complex cases.
• Prepare for and attend tribunal proceedings, conciliations and hearings.
• Conduct legally robust workplace investigations.
• Handle fitness-for-work medical case management.
• Provide interpretation of enterprise agreements and awards.
• Engage with senior leaders, HR teams and legal counsel to mitigate risk.
