Village Roadshow Ltd. is seeking a Workforce Planning Team Member at Movie World, Oxenford, Gold Coast on a part-time six-month fixed-term contract. You will support rostering, maintain workforce records, and assist with HR operations to keep parks ready to open each day.

The role suits someone studying HR, Business, or a related field who enjoys detail, systems, and helping people. Availability includes Sundays to Wednesdays with some Saturdays as required.

Qualifications

• Studying HR, Business or a related degree and able to balance study with work commitments.
• Strong eye for detail and accuracy in rostering and records.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, systems and processes to organise staff.
• Experience or exposure to rostering, payroll or workforce systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Turn plans into rosters to ensure parks are staffed and ready to open.
• Take sick calls and arrange replacements to minimise disruption.
• Update workforce systems, records, trackers and documents.
• Check training, skills and competency information to confirm readiness.

The Opportunity

Not everyone loves an early start. But if you're already awake before most people have hit snooze, love bringing order to chaos and get excited about spreadsheets, systems and keeping things running smoothly, keep reading.

We're looking for a Workforce Support Team Member to join our Workforce Planning team on a six-month contract. You'll help make sure our parks are staffed and ready to open each day, while gaining genuine exposure to workforce planning and business operations.

The Practical Stuff

• Availability: Sunday to Wednesday, with occasional Saturdays as required
• Typical shifts: 6:00am to 10:00am or 7:00am to 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Turning plans into perfect rosters! You’ll be:

• Taking sick calls and arranging replacements
• Updating workforce systems, records, trackers and documents
• Checking training, skills and competency information
• Helping keep Workforce Planning organised and running smoothly
• Using technology, workflows and approved AI tools to work smarter
