Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks on the Gold Coast is seeking a part-time Workforce Planning Team Member for a 6-month fixed term. The role involves supporting rostering, updating workforce records, and handling sick calls to keep operations running smoothly.

Availability is Sunday to Wednesday with some Saturdays; shifts are early mornings. Perfect for someone studying HR or Business who loves detail, systems, and a structured, process-driven environment.

Workforce Planning Team Member

Part Time Salary | 6-Month Fixed Term

The Opportunity

Not everyone loves an early start. But if you're already awake before most people have hit snooze, love bringing order to chaos and get excited about spreadsheets, systems and keeping things running smoothly, keep reading.

The Practical Stuff

• Availability: Sunday to Wednesday, with occasional Saturdays as required
• Typical shifts: 6:00am to 10:00am or 7:00am to 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Taking sick calls and arranging replacements
• Updating workforce systems, records, trackers and documents
• Checking training, skills and competency information
• Helping keep Workforce Planning organised and running smoothly
• Using technology, workflows and approved AI tools to work smarter

What We’re Looking For

• Love organisation and attention to detail
• Enjoy helping people and solving problems
• Are studying HR, Business or a related degree
• Like systems, spreadsheets and process-driven work
• Can stay calm when mornings get busy
• Take pride in getting the little things right

Bonus Points if You Have

• Administration, customer service or call-handling experience
• Exposure to Modern Awards or Enterprise Agreements
• Experience with rostering, payroll or workforce systems such as UKG
