Job summary

MK & KY Painting Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations & Procedures Specialist to analyse and improve business processes across Sydney projects. The role focuses on mapping workflows, reducing bottlenecks and enhancing cost control and service delivery.

You will review subcontractor onboarding, procurement, tender workflows and implement improved SOPs, procedures and operational documentation, while developing KPIs and reporting to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher in Business/Engineering/Operations or related field.
Minimum two years in operations, project coordination or process improvement.
Experience creating or revising SOPs and procedures.
Strong ability to analyze workflows and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Analyse existing operational methods, workflows and procedures.
Prepare workflow maps and identify bottlenecks, duplicated work and control weaknesses.
Develop and revise SOPs, procedures, checklists and operational documentation.
Review subcontractor onboarding, allocation, communication, performance.
Develop contractor and operational KPIs and reporting.
Analyse operational costs, delays, rework, defects and workflow performance.
Review and improve procurement and supplier-evaluation procedures.
Improve tender, quotation and bidding workflows.
Analyse customer-enquiry, quotation and sales-handover procedures.
Evaluate appropriate digital and AI-enabled workflow tools.
Assist with implementation of approved process improvements.
Monitor compliance with revised procedures and recommend ongoing improvements.
