Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking an MSO Support Specialist to partner with our MSO customer network across New South Wales and the ACT. You’ll deliver hands-on technical support, coach teams, and identify efficiency improvements to elevate repair outcomes.

In this role you’ll travel across NSW/ACT, train paint and panel teams, and drive implementation of best-practice processes. A company vehicle is provided for business and personal use.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in high-volume collision repair or automotive refinishing.
• Strong knowledge of paint application and workshop operations.
• Proven ability to influence, coach, and develop technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on technical support, coaching, and guidance across multiple repair facilities.
• Train and mentor paint and panel teams to improve skills and workshop performance.
• Conduct training sessions, competency assessments, and pre-employment evaluations.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
• Support adoption of PPG products, systems, and best-practice repair processes.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide expert repair guidance.
• Maintain workshop equipment and colour management tools.
• Travel regularly throughout NSW and the ACT to support operations.
