Job summary

DXC Technology in Adelaide is seeking a Work's Compensation Team Leader on a 12-month fixed-term contract to oversee a dedicated claims team and ensure compliant, customer-focused service for the Woolworths account.

You will coach staff, manage end-to-end workers’ compensation claims, monitor regulatory changes, and drive continuous improvement while balancing cost, wellbeing, and service outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Territory or relevant qualification in a health or related field (highly desirable).
• Experience: Leading teams within self‑insured workers’ compensation schemes or similar; managing claims under self‑insurance frameworks; coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• People Management – Lead and manage a claims team, coach and mentor, drive performance.
• Claims Management – End‑to‑end processing of workers’ compensation claims, ensure regulatory alignment.
• Customer Service – Respond to calls and queries with empathy, foster a customer‑focused culture.
• Risk and Compliance – Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation legislation and self‑insurance requirements; monitor regulatory changes.
• Teamwork & Coaching – Support development through training, team meetings and continuous improvement.
