Job summary

Hastings Deering is seeking a People Systems Advisor for a 12-month fixed term contract to join the People and Culture function in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. Reporting to the Systems Enablement Lead, you will drive the HRIS roadmap (Workday) and partner with stakeholders to deliver practical system improvements across the employee lifecycle.

You will coordinate UAT, resolve complex issues, maintain data quality and governance, and work with People & Culture, Payroll and technical teams to enable

Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS/Workday preferred.
• Strong background in business analysis and HR operations.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, model processes and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the HRIS (Workday) roadmap, including enhancements and optimisation initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into system solutions.
• Analyse current and future state HR processes to improve efficiency, standardisation and user experience.
• Create and maintain business requirements, process maps, workflows and business cases.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with planning, scripts and defect management.
• Investigate and resolve complex system, workflow, integration and data issues using root-cause analysis.
• Maintain data integrity and governance through audits and data quality reviews.
• Build strong relationships with People & Culture, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and technical teams.
