Job summary

Hastings Deering is seeking a People Systems Advisor for a 12 month fixed term contract, based in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. You will drive the Workday roadmap, partner with stakeholders, and deliver system improvements across the employee lifecycle.

You will support UAT, coordinate testing activities, and ensure data quality and governance. This role suits problem-solvers who enjoy stakeholder engagement and technology-enabled business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday HRIS or similar enterprise system.
• Ability to analyze business processes and map requirements.
• Understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle governance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the HRIS (Workday) roadmap, including enhancements and optimisation initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into practical system solutions.
• Analyse current and future-state people processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Develop business requirements, process maps, and test assets to support system initiatives.
• Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management.
• Investigate and resolve system, data, and integration issues using root-cause analysis.
• Maintain data integrity and governance through audits and validation activities.
• Build relationships with People & Culture and technical teams to support outcomes.
