Job summary

Hastings Deering is seeking a People Systems Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Acacia Ridge. You will drive the Workday HRIS roadmap, collaborating with People & Culture, Payroll and IT teams to deliver system improvements across the employee lifecycle.

You will analyse business requirements, coordinate testing, and resolve complex issues to ensure data quality and efficient user experiences.

Qualifications

Experience with Workday preferred; candidates with experience in other HRIS welcome.
Experience in business analysis, systems support, people systems or HR operations.
Solid understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle.
Strong problem-solving skills with root-cause analysis.
Experience gathering requirements, facilitating process improvements and documenting workflows.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across departments.
Attention to data quality and governance.

Responsibilities

Assist delivery of the HRIS (Workday) roadmap, including enhancements and optimisation initiatives.
Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into system solutions.
Analyse current and future-state HR processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
Create and maintain BRD, process maps, workflows and business cases.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test planning and defect management.
Investigate and resolve complex system, workflow and data issues through root cause analysis.
Maintain data integrity and governance through audits and validation.
