Job summary

BDO is hiring a Workday Finance Analyst to support and enhance our Workday Finance platform across multiple finance modules. The role collaborates with Finance and Technology to ensure reliability, security and optimal use of the system.

You will work in a nationally connected team, contributing to continuous improvement, governance and documentation to strengthen our finance technology capability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Workday or other enterprise finance/ERP systems in support, optimisation or delivery.
• Experience in finance functions or supporting finance processes; accounting/finance background highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of system configuration, security, business process frameworks and reporting within finance/ERP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration across Workday Finance modules (Financial Accounting, Assets, Expenses, AP/AR, Projects, Project Billing).
• Troubleshoot system issues, incidents and user queries to minimise business disruption.
• Monitor, maintain and enhance Workday configurations to support evolving business requirements.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose system solutions.
• Support testing activities for system changes, releases and enhancements.
• Assess impact of Workday biannual releases and adopt new functionality where relevant.
• Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows and configuration guides.
• Ensure changes are documented, tested, approved and deployed per governance.
