Job summary

BDO is expanding its Product team in Brisbane, Australia, to optimise, support and enhance the Workday Finance platform. This hands-on role blends technical proficiency with stakeholder engagement to ensure the platform remains reliable, secure and effectively utilised, enabling our people and business to operate efficiently.

You’ll join a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, system configuration, testing, and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Workday or other enterprise finance/ERP systems in a support, optimisation or delivery capacity.
• Background in accounting or finance is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of system configuration, security, and reporting within finance/ERP platforms.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective outcomes.
• Ability to own issues and enhancements, ensuring timely resolution and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and administration across Workday Finance modules (Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Expenses, Suppliers, AP/AR, Projects, Project Billing).
• Troubleshoot system issues, incidents and user queries to minimise disruption.
• Monitor, maintain and enhance Workday configurations to support evolving business needs.
• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Support testing for system changes, releases and enhancements.
