City and Environment Directorate in Canberra seeks a Work Health Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to support the City Presentation Branch. You will partner with managers and staff to identify risks, conduct audits, and implement safety and wellbeing initiatives across diverse service environments.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of WHS legislation, with a focus on improving safety culture and operational excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, or willingness to obtain.
• Current C Class Driver Licence.
• Experience working in a WHS role, preferably within operational, field-based or high-risk environments.
• Experience in hazardous chemical and dangerous goods management.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations, audits and risk assessments.

• Provide contemporary WHS advice and support to the workforce.
• Identify and manage workplace risks through audits, inspections and investigations.
• Develop practical safety solutions and contribute to WHS systems and wellbeing initiatives.
