Job summary

The Australian Sports Commission in Canberra is seeking a Work Health Safety (WHS) Advisor to lead safety, wellbeing and prevention initiatives across the ASC. You will partner with leaders to identify risks, strengthen controls and implement practical solutions that enhance safety and employee wellbeing.

This ongoing, full-time role is part of the Safety, Safeguarding & Prevention Team. You will monitor programs, prepare reports and provide specialist guidance to leaders and staff across

Qualifications

• Relevant WHS qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting WHS and wellbeing programs in a large organisation.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and psychosocial risk obligations.
• Ability to analyse risk and workforce data to identify trends.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
• Ability to prepare reports and supporting documentation.

• Lead development and improvement of WHS, wellbeing, and prevention programs.
• Partner with leaders to identify risks and implement practical controls.
• Monitor program effectiveness and report on outcomes.
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure organisational obligations are met.
