Job summary

QLeave is seeking a Principal Advisor Health, Safety and Wellbeing to serve as the organisation's subject matter expert and trusted adviser on workplace health, safety and wellbeing. You will advance the health and safety portfolio, build capability, and embed practical risk management into daily decision-making within the People, Culture and Capability team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workplace health, safety and wellbeing programs.
• Knowledge of contemporary WHS practices and psychosocial risk management.
• Ability to influence leaders and build capability across leadership levels.
• Experience developing frameworks and tools to drive safety, wellbeing and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and specialist advice across QLeave's WHS portfolio.
• Strengthen psychosocial risk assessment and hazard identification capabilities.
• Partner with leaders to implement practical safety and wellbeing solutions.
• Strengthen governance, reporting and assurance practices for WHS.
• Develop contemporary policies, procedures, tools and resources.
• Drive initiatives that promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement.
