Protech's Track & Trade Ready Program in Beerburrum offers a paid traineeship for women to start a career in rail and construction, with opportunities on major infrastructure projects. No prior industry experience required.

In the initial 16-week full-time traineeship you will complete a Certificate I in Construction, earn $28–$29 per hour (plus overtime and allowances), and gain hands-on exposure with a supported pathway forward.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required; an entry pathway designed for women.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license and reliable transport.
• Commitment to completing the full 16-week program.
• Willing to undertake practical, hands-on work and pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Earn while you learn through a 16-week full-time paid traineeship.
• Complete a Certificate I in Construction and gain hands-on access to rail/construction sites.
