Protech's Track & Trade Ready Program in Beerburrum offers a paid traineeship for women to start a career in rail and construction, with opportunities on major infrastructure projects. No prior industry experience required.
In the initial 16-week full-time traineeship you will complete a Certificate I in Construction, earn $28–$29 per hour (plus overtime and allowances), and gain hands-on exposure with a supported pathway forward.

No industry experience? No problem. This is a full-time entry pathway designed to give you the qualifications, tickets, practical skills and industry exposure you need to get started.
The goal is not simply to complete a qualification. It is to give you a genuine pathway into a long-term career in rail or construction.
