Based in Beerburrum, Protech’s Track & Trade Ready Program is a paid traineeship designed to help women start a career in construction and rail, with opportunities to work on major infrastructure projects. Earn while you learn through a 16-week full-time paid traineeship completing a Certificate I in Construction, at $28–$29 per hour plus overtime, travel and meal allowances.

No industry experience? No problem. This is a full-time entry pathway designed to give you the qualifications, tickets, practical skills and industry exposure you need to get started.
The goal is not simply to complete a qualification. It is to give you a genuine pathway into a long-term career in rail or construction.

Previous experience in manual or physically active work is an advantage, but not essential. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are strongly encouraged to apply.
