Job summary

Based in Beerburrum, Protech’s Track & Trade Ready Program is a paid traineeship designed to help women start a career in construction and rail, with opportunities to work on major infrastructure projects. Earn while you learn through a 16-week full-time paid traineeship completing a Certificate I in Construction, at $28–$29 per hour plus overtime, travel and meal allowances.

The program provides hands-on experience while completing nationally recognised training and offers potential pathways

Qualifications

Be 18 years or older.
Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to reliable transport.
Be willing to undertake practical, hands-on work.
Be committed to completing the full 16-week program.
Be willing and able to successfully complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen and Physical Assessment.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Earn while you learn through a 16-week full-time paid traineeship completing a Certificate I in Construction.
Gain practical, hands-on experience while completing nationally recognised training.
Potential pathways after the program include Certificate III traineeships in Civil Construction or Rail Infrastructure / Rail Traction, Civil Labourer roles, Plant Operator roles, and Queensland Rail Recipient roles.
All required PPE provided.
