Job summary

Protech Group in Beerburrum is offering a paid Track & Trade Ready Program to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The 16‑week full‑time traineeship provides Certificate I in Construction, tools and hands‑on experience to start a career in rail and construction.

Earn $28–$29 per hour, with overtime, travel and meal allowances. It’s a structured pathway into higher certificates and Civil/Rail trainee roles after completion.

Qualifications

• No rail or construction experience required.
• Must be 18+ with a current driver’s licence.
• Must have reliable transport and be willing to undertake practical work.
• Must complete the full 16‑week paid program.
• Must be willing to pass a pre‑employment Drug & Alcohol Screen and Physical Assessment.
• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
