Job summary

Women's Community Shelters is seeking a Housing and Accommodation Services Manager to lead the Ashfield site, delivering crisis and transitional accommodation and a community hub that coordinates services for women and children affected by domestic and family violence.

The role requires overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment, guiding staff and fostering partnerships across the sector to interrupt cycles of violence and support clients’ rebuilds.

Qualifications

• Tertiary or Diploma level qualifications in Community Services, Social Work or similar.
• Experience in roles focusing on gender-based violence or homelessness is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the housing service.
• Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to the team.
• Build and maintain partnerships across the organisation and sector.
• Ensure compliance with policies and drive service improvement.
• Manage budget and reporting.
