Job summary

Baker Hughes in Australia is seeking a Services Specialist - Technical Support Engineering to join our Wireline Services team. You will lead and deliver technical support to Operations, Sales, and clients, guiding colleagues and mentoring apprentices.

You will develop and implement solutions for client needs, coordinate new technologies, and collaborate with AMO teams to troubleshoot equipment, ensuring adherence to the MtJC process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of technical understanding and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services.
• Experience with open hole and casded hole logging and perforating services.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Operations Teams, Sales, and clients.
• Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs.
• Manage and coordinate the introduction of new technologies.
• Collaborate with AMO Teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Raise alerts when unfamiliar technical issues arise on a job.
