Baker Hughes in Australia seeks a Services Specialist - Technical Support Engineering to provide expert technical support for Wireline in Australia. You will lead and coach specialists, technicians, and apprentices in your area of expertise, while guiding operations teams, sales and clients.

The role focuses on developing solutions, coordinating new technology introductions, and ensuring smooth field operations with a strong emphasis on safety and process adherence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in oilfield wireline operations.
• Experience with open hole and casd hole logging and perforating services.
• Fluent in English and good communicator.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical expertise to Operations, Sales and clients.
• Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs.
• Coordinate introduction of new technologies.
• Collaborate with AMO teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll work as part of the support team. You'll lead and provide technical support to other groups and co-workers for Baker Hughes Wireline in Australia. You'll provide coaching to others specialist, technicians, and apprentices in your area of expertise.

As a Technical Support Engineer - Wireline Services you will be responsible for:

Providing technical expertise and guidance to Operations Teams, Sales, and clients.

Developing and implementing solutions to meet client needs.

Managing and coordinating the introduction of new technologies.

Collaborating with AMO Teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.

Ensuring compliance with managing the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.

Raising alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

Have at least 5 years of thorough understanding (Technical) and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services (advanced open/cased-hole services)

Have experience with open hole & cased hole logging and perforating services.

Be a good communicator and fluent in English.
