Job summary

Baker Hughes in Australia seeks a Services Specialist - Technical Support Engineering to provide expert technical support for Wireline in Australia. You will lead and coach specialists, technicians, and apprentices in your area of expertise, while guiding operations teams, sales and clients.

The role focuses on developing solutions, coordinating new technology introductions, and ensuring smooth field operations with a strong emphasis on safety and process adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in oilfield wireline operations.
• Experience with open hole and casd hole logging and perforating services.
• Fluent in English and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to Operations, Sales and clients.
• Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs.
• Coordinate introduction of new technologies.
• Collaborate with AMO teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Raise alerts for unfamiliar technical issues on jobs.
