Job summary

Baker Hughes in Australia is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for the Wireline Services team. You will provide technical guidance to Operations Teams, Sales, and clients, lead problem solving, and coordinate new technologies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 5 years of experience in oilfield wireline operations with open hole and perforating services, and fluent English. We offer flexible working patterns and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of thorough understanding (Technical) in oilfield wireline operations and services.
• Experience with open hole and casd hole logging and perforating services.
• Fluent in English and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Operations Teams, Sales, and clients.
• Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs.
• Manage and coordinate the introduction of new technologies.
• Collaborate with AMO Teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with managing the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Raise alert across the Service Delivery organization when unfamiliar technical issues arise on a job.
