Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Services Specialist - Technical Support Engineering in Brisbane, Australia. You will lead and provide technical support to operations, sales and clients in the Wireline Services unit, coaching teams and guiding apprentices in your area of expertise.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 5 years in oilfield wireline operations, and experience with open hole and/or cased hole logging and perforating services. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in oilfield wireline operations and services.
• Experience with open hole and/or cased hole logging and perforating services.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to Operations Teams, Sales, and clients.
• Develop and implement solutions to meet client needs.
• Coordinate the introduction of new technologies across the team.
• Collaborate with AMO Teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
• Raise alerts across the Service Delivery organization when unfamiliar issues arise.
