Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead wind turbine construction projects across remote Australian sites. You will oversee on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and ensure timely delivery with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical, electrical or instrumentation trade qualification, extensive construction or heavy industrial experience, and a proven ability to lead site teams in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience in construction, installation or heavy industrial environments.
• Proven track record supervising site-based teams.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using construction management, scheduling or project tracking systems.
• Ability to work effectively in remote or regional environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise wind turbine installation and construction activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Oversee turbine assembly, tower erection and mechanical/electrical installation.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and construction progress.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Identify and resolve technical, logistical and construction issues.
• Manage changing site conditions, deliveries and project challenges.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to site teams.
