Job summary

FairWind is seeking an experienced wind turbine electrical technician to join our collaborative team near Rockhampton. This full-time, on-site role includes accommodation, meals, transport and PPE provided.

The project will run for up to a year, with the opportunity to work on the next installation project. The roster is 3 weeks on, 1 week off, with transport provided to return home.

Qualifications

• GWO BST & BTT training is essential.
• Queensland A Grade Electrical Licence required.
• All other training or refreshers can be provided on site if required.

Responsibilities

• Build and install wind turbine tower parts and nacelles with a team.
• Install and test cabling and switching.
• Ensure safe and correct integration with the site substation.

Job description
